Izard County is a county located in the state of Arkansas. In 2020, about 13,577 people lived there. The main town and county seat is Melbourne.
Izard County was created on October 27, 1825. It was named after George Izard, who was a general in the War of 1812. He also served as the governor of the Arkansas Territory.
