College Football Journey
Jamin was considered a promising player and decided to play college football for the Kentucky Wildcats. In 2017, he was a "redshirt" freshman. This means he practiced with the team but didn't play in games, which allowed him to gain an extra year of eligibility later.
In 2018, he mostly played on special teams, which are units used for plays like kickoffs and punts. He also got one interception as a backup player. In 2019, he made 32 tackles. Then, in 2020, he became a starter for the team. That year, he led the team with 102 tackles. He also had 1.5 sacks, which is when a player tackles the opposing quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. Jamin also forced one fumble, recovered another, and made three interceptions. One of his interceptions was amazing: he ran it back 85 yards for a touchdown!
