About Joe Atlan's Life
Joe Atlan first played a keyboard when he was just 5 years old. But he didn't really get into music again until he was 16. That's when he discovered the Italian power metal band Rhapsody.
He has often said that he found "true Art" through the books of J. R. R. Tolkien. Then, he found "art in Music" for the first time with Rhapsody. From that moment on, he started to play and compose music on the piano.
University and Film Music
In 2007, Joe Atlan went to the University of Navarra in Pamplona. He studied Audiovisual Communication there. People often saw him playing music at charity concerts and school events.
During his studies, he became very interested in film music. Even though his degree was mostly about making movies and TV shows, he decided in his second year to dedicate his life to music. Playing with Timo Tolkki
