The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2003 was the very first time this exciting music competition happened for young singers! It's like the famous Eurovision Song Contest, but for kids aged eight to fifteen. This big show took place on 15 November 2003, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The hosts were Camilla Ottesen and Remee.

The contest was won by Dino Jelušić, who was eleven years old at the time. He represented Croatia with his song "Ti Si Moja Prva Ljubav," which means "You Are My First Love." Spain came in second place, and the United Kingdom finished third.

About Junior Eurovision

The Junior Eurovision Song Contest is a fun music competition for talented young people. Countries from all over Europe (and sometimes beyond) send their best young singers to perform an original song. Each country then votes for their favourite songs, and the country with the most points wins! It's a great way for kids to share their music and culture.

The 2003 Contest

The 2003 contest was the first of its kind, making it a special event. Sixteen different countries took part, each hoping to win the first-ever Junior Eurovision trophy. The show was held at the Forum Copenhagen, a large event hall in Denmark's capital city.

The Winner

Croatia made history by winning the first Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Dino Jelušić's song "Ti Si Moja Prva Ljubav" captured the hearts of voters across Europe. It was a big moment for the young singer and his country.
