How He Plays
Piątek is known as a "classic" "number 9" striker. He is best when he is inside the opponent's penalty area. He is good at finding the right spot, finishing accurately, and is strong in the air. He also fights hard for the ball. Some areas he could improve are his team play outside the penalty area and his passing.
At Genoa, Piątek played as a main striker in a 3–5–2 formation. He was often supported by Christian Kouamé, a fast player good at dribbling. At Milan, he played as a single striker in a 4–3–3 formation, with wingers helping him.
Piątek looks up to Harry Kane and Robert Lewandowski. He also said Cristiano Ronaldo and Thierry Henry were his heroes when he was a child.
Personal Life
Krzysztof Piątek is married to Paulina Procyk. They got married on June 1, 2019, at the Castle of the Order of St. John in Łagów, Poland.
Fans call him "Il Pistolero," which means "the Gunslinger." This nickname comes from his goal celebration, where he pretends to fire a gun. This is like the cowboys from the old Wild West.
