Little Bear Brook is a small stream, also known as a tributary, located in Mercer County, New Jersey, in the United States. It plays a part in the larger Raritan River system by flowing into the Millstone River. Eventually, its water travels all the way to the Atlantic Ocean.
Where Little Bear Brook Flows
Every stream has a starting point, called its source. Little Bear Brook begins in Mercer County, New Jersey, at these coordinates: 40°19′1″N 74°38′13″W / 40.31694°N 74.63694°W.
From its source, the brook flows mainly towards the northeast. As it travels, it passes under a few roads. These include Alexander Road and Washington Road, which is also known as County Route 571 (CR-571).
Finally, Little Bear Brook empties its water into the Millstone River. This ending point, known as its mouth, is located at 40°19′43″N 74°37′29″W / 40.32861°N 74.62472°W. The water from Little Bear Brook then joins the Millstone River, which flows into the Raritan River, and eventually reaches the Atlantic Ocean.
