Marina Satti (Greek: Μαρίνα Σάττι; born 26 December 1986) is a talented Greek singer, composer, and music producer. Her unique music style blends traditional Greek, Arab, and Balkan sounds with modern urban music.

Early Life and Education
Marina Satti was born in Athens, Greece, and lived there until she was six years old. She then grew up on the island of Crete. Her father was a doctor from Sudan, and her mother was an engineer from Crete. Marina visited Sudan during her childhood summers.
She started playing piano at age five and sang in many choirs. Marina studied singing and classical music, earning top honors. She also learned jazz music at the Nakas Conservatory in Athens. In 2012, she completed a three-year degree in jazz composition and music production at the Berklee College of Music in the U.S.A. She also studied acting at two different drama schools in Athens. In 2024, she began studying Cultural Management at the Hellenic Open University.
Music Career Highlights
Marina Satti has performed with the European Jazz Orchestra and at the John F. Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. She has sung in ten different languages and written music for short films and advertisements. From 2006 to 2024, she also acted and wrote music for 15 theater plays in Greece.
In 2016, Marina started a female a cappella group called Fonés ("Voices"), which performs traditional polyphonic songs. She also lends her voice to cartoons, including being the Greek voice for Moana in Moana (2016) and Moana 2 (2024), and Ariel in The Little Mermaid (2023). Marina also teaches music and singing at schools and universities in Greece.
Popular Songs and Projects
In 2016, Marina released her song "Koupes" ("Cups"), which gained over 28 million views on YouTube. Her next song, "Mantissa" ("Seeress"), released in 2017, was a big hit. It reached the top charts in Europe and was called the "song of the summer" by Global Citizen. This song has over 58 million views on YouTube.
In 2017, Marina created Chóres, a choir of 200 women aged 13 to 63. This choir performed traditional songs at ancient sites in 2020. In June 2018, Marina and Fonés presented Yalla!, a show featuring world music and pop songs, which toured in Europe. Marina also toured Europe, the U.S., and Australia from 2017 to 2023.
Her first album, Yenna ("Birth"), was released in May 2022. It was very popular in Greece and abroad, followed by a four-month European tour.
Eurovision Song Contest and Recent Albums
On 24 October 2023, Marina Satti was chosen to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024. Her song, "Zari" ("Dice"), was released on 7 March 2024. She finished 11th in the final and her performance won the "Best Onstage Ensemble 2024" award from Eurovision fans.
"Zari" was a global hit, reaching the top 50 on YouTube's global trends and number 18 on Spotify's Global Top 50. It was the first Greek song to achieve this. It also topped charts in several countries and received a diamond certification in Greece.
After Eurovision, Marina released an EP (Extended Play) called P.O.P. on 14 May 2024. It included "Zari" and other popular songs like “Tucutum” and “Lalalala.” The EP was a huge success in Greece, earning a 2x platinum certification. It also reached number eight on Spotify's global top 10 albums.
On 18 November 2024, she announced her next song "Anatoli", which was released on 6 December 2024 and became double platinum. She released "Epano sto trapezi" on 24 January 2025 and "Ela Ela" on 24 March 2025.
Her second album, POP TOO, was released on 25 April 2025. It is a follow-up to P.O.P. and features 10 new songs. Two songs from the album, "Lola" and "Epano Sto Trapezi," became number one hits on YouTube in Greece for 2025. POP TOO is the best-selling album by a female Greek artist for 2025 and charted in 45 countries.
In May 2025, Marina recorded a Greek version of the song "Saudade, saudade" called "Fovame" ("I'm Afraid"). She also performed at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 semi-final in Switzerland. In June 2025, Marina was featured on the cover of Vogue Greece. She also appeared in songs by other artists, including "Cosmos" by Oge and "De Fovame" by Bloody Hawk. On 29 June 2025, she released three new versions of her song "Fashion Killah."
