Micheal Ward was born in Spanish Town, Jamaica. His mother was 18 years old at the time. He has three sisters. Sadly, his father passed away in a car crash when Micheal was only two years old.
When Micheal was four, he moved to Hackney, East London with his mother and sister. They got help from his aunt and uncle, who owned a Caribbean restaurant. Later, his family moved to Romford. Micheal went to Chadwell Heath Academy. He then studied performing arts at Epping Forest College. As a teenager, he delivered food for his aunt's restaurant. He also worked at a betting shop for a while.
