Mighty Express is an exciting Canadian-American cartoon series made with computers. It was created by Keith Chapman and Spin Master Entertainment. This show is produced by Spin Master Entertainment with Netflix. The animation is done by Atomic Cartoons. Mighty Express first aired in the United States on September 22, 2020. A special Christmas episode, called A Mighty Christmas, came out on December 5, 2020. The second season was released on February 2, 2021, and the third season followed on April 13, 2021.

About Tracksville and the Trains

The story of Mighty Express happens in a town called Tracksville. In this special place, there are no grown-ups (except for Santa Claus!). Kids run everything, from train stations to other important spots. They work together with the Mighty Express trains, who can talk and are very smart. These trains and kids go on amazing adventures.

Each train in Tracksville has its own special job and tools. They also have unique cargo cars to help them. They always work hard to make Tracksville a better place. Trains and kids live together peacefully and happily.

Meet the Characters

The Mighty Trains

There are eight main trains in the series. Each one has a different purpose and special skills.

Main Trains

• Freight Nate (voiced by Dylan Schombing) – Nate is a very strong and fast train. His job is to pull heavy cargo. He is friendly, brave, and always ready to help. Nate has a crane with a claw on his back. He also has legs that pop out to keep him steady when he loads things. Nate is red, grey, and yellow.
• Mechanic Milo (voiced by Leo Orgil) – Milo's main job is to keep the train tracks in perfect condition. He loves to solve any puzzle that comes his way. Milo is curious, reliable, and pays close attention to details. He has a hydraulic arm with a wrench-like claw. He can also shoot new tracks from his front. Milo wears silver safety goggles and is blue, white, and orange.
• Build-It Brock (voiced by Tyler Nathan) – Brock builds everything the town needs. This includes bridges, train bays, and tunnels. Brock loves to help, even if he is a bit shy sometimes. He has a cement mixer on his back. He also has front end loader arms on his front. Brock is yellow, orange, and grey.
• Farmer Faye (voiced by Michela Luci) – Faye is kind and caring, which is perfect for her job. She moves farm products and animals. She also helps out on the farm. Faye is friendly and cares about everyone in town. She has combine harvester parts on her front. She is green, orange, and grey. Faye is unique because she looks like a tractor mixed with a steam locomotive.
• Rescue Red (voiced by Evan Lefeuvre) – Red is like a fire truck and EMT train. He is Flicker's older brother. Red makes amazing rescues and keeps everyone safe. He takes his job very seriously. He often reads rules from his "Red's Rulebook." Red has a ladder on his back and emergency lights. He is fire engine red, silver, and white.
• Peoplemover Penny (voiced by Annick Obonsawin) – Penny is super friendly. Her job is to take kids from one station to another. She greets everyone with her cheerful personality. Penny can open her roof and raise her seats for open-air rides. She is cream, white, and purple.
• Flicker (voiced by Ian Ho) – Flicker is a small engine and Rescue Red's little brother. Flicker handles small rescues. He is full of energy and playful, but sometimes a bit new to things. Flicker has a light on his roof and a fire hose reel. He is red, white, and silver. Flicker is smaller, so his inside is mostly for Diesel the Dog.
• Mandy Mail (voiced by Gracen Daly) – Mandy is a new character who first appeared in A Mighty Christmas. She is very proud and expects important deliveries. Sometimes she refuses help even when she needs it. Her job is to carry letters from kids to Santa Claus or anywhere else. She is white, blue, red, gold, and yellow. Mandy has many spaces to carry packages and letters.

• Super Train (voiced by Rob Tinkler) - This is a fictional superhero train from a comic book series.

The Human Kids

Main Kids

• Max (voiced by Jay Hatton) – Max is the leader of the team. He is energetic, inspiring, and understanding. Max wears blue overalls.
• Liza (voiced by Zoe Hatz) – Liza is a "train whisperer" and a mechanical engineer. She is creative, good with her hands, and always positive. She loves to figure out how things work. Liza wears green overalls. She is the only main girl on the Mighty Express team.
• Nico (voiced by Meesha Contreras) – Nico is the trackmaster and map maker. He thinks fast and can do many things at once. His love for learning makes him great at solving puzzles. Nico wears blue glasses and red overalls.

Other Kids

• Jubilee (voiced by Matilda Simons) - A girl who might be the mayor of Tracksville. She organizes special events and gives speeches.
• Clay (voiced by Benjamin Hum) and May (voiced by Lori Phun) - A young cowboy and cowgirl who run Farm Station.
• Carrie (voiced by Maja Vujicic) - A young girl who runs Mail Station.
• Amanda (voiced by Aaliyah Cinello) - A young girl with cat ears on her headband. She seems to be in charge at School Station.
• Jaden (voiced by Adrian Groulx) - Amanda's younger brother.
• Finn (voiced by Marcus Cornwall) - A young boy who runs Beach Station and is the local lifeguard.
• Skipper (voiced by Chris D'Silva) - A young boy who runs Port Station.
• Dusty (voiced by Millie Davis) - A young girl who works at Building Yard Station. She helps with big construction projects.
• Ivy (voiced by Abigail Nicholson) - A young girl who organizes outdoor activities at Camp Itchiknee.
• Marcus (voiced by Caleb Bellavance) - A young boy who runs the donut shop in Central Square.
• Rocky (voiced by Callum Shoniker) - A young boy who lives at Pointy Peak Station.
• Santa Claus (voiced by Ron Pardo) - Santa is the only known adult human in the Mighty Express world. His elves are like the children of Tracksville.

The Animals

• The Popstar Piggies (Flashy, Splashy, Glitzy, and Larry) (voiced by Bryn McAuley and Richard Binsley) - A group of pigs who perform at events.
• Goaty McGoat - A goat who lives on Corkscrew Curve. He often gets into trouble but is loved by everyone.
• Diesel (voiced by Rob Tinkler) - A dog who wears a train engineer's hat. He often hangs out with Flicker and helps him stay on track.
• Dippers (voiced by Dee Bradley Baker) - dolphins that swim near Port Station.
• Chompy (voiced by Frank Welker) - A beaver who lives at Building Yard Station.
• Cows (voiced by Richard Binsley) - A herd of cows at Farm Station.
• Flap - A carrier pigeon in a mailman outfit. He works with Mandy Mail.
• Giggles - A baby octopus who swims near Beach Station.
• Snowball - A penguin who lives in Pointy Peak Station.

In 2021, a mobile app based on the Mighty Express series was released. You can download it on smart devices. While traditional train toys like those for Thomas & Friends were not planned, toy trains based on the characters were produced in 2021.
