Where is Mount Croghan?
Mount Croghan is located in the northern part of Chesterfield County. You can find it at these coordinates: 34°46′7″N 80°13′31″W / 34.76861°N 80.22528°W.
Several main roads pass through or near the town. South Carolina Highway 9 goes through Mount Croghan. If you go east on SC 9, it's about 9 miles to Chesterfield, which is the main town for the county. If you go west, it's also about 9 miles to Pageland.
South Carolina Highway 109 goes north from Mount Croghan for about 3 miles until it reaches the North Carolina border. From there, North Carolina Highway 109 continues northeast for another 14 miles to Wadesboro. SC 109 also joins SC 9 for about 3 miles going east from Mount Croghan, leading to Ruby.
Another road, South Carolina Highway 268, goes southwest from Mount Croghan for about 13 miles to Jefferson.
