Pageland is a town located in Chesterfield County, South Carolina, in the United States. It is the second largest town in Chesterfield County. In 2020, about 2,456 people lived there.
Pageland is famous for its yearly Watermelon Festival. This festival has been held every July since 1951. Watermelons are very important to Pageland's history and community. In 1952, the town was even named "The Watermelon Capital of the World." You can see watermelons displayed on benches and businesses around town. The town's water tower even has a watermelon painted on it!
