Movelier is a small town, also called a municipality, located in the Jura canton in Switzerland. It's part of the Delémont district. The town is found on a flat area north of Delémont, close to the French border.

Movelier was first written about in the year 1188. Back then, it was called Moderswilre. For a while, it was also known by its German name, Moderswiler, but people don't use that name anymore.
