Rachel Kelly Crow (born January 23, 1998) is a talented American singer and actress. She was born in Mead, Colorado. Rachel became well-known after joining the first season of the American TV show The X Factor in 2011. She was the ninth contestant to leave the competition.
After The X Factor, Rachel reached out to Disney for acting chances. This led to her appearing in many TV shows and movies. Some of these include BrainSurge, Big Time Rush, and Fred: The Show. In June 2012, Rachel Crow released her first music collection, called an extended play (EP), which was named after herself.

Starting with The X Factor
Rachel Crow tried out for the first season of The X Factor in the US in 2011. She sang "Mercy" by Duffy. She made it to the live shows, which are the main performances. Rachel was eliminated in the quarter-final round. This happened after she competed in a "sing-off" against another contestant, Marcus Canty.

Music Adventures and Releases
In February 2012, Rachel Crow signed a music deal with Columbia Records. She also signed a TV deal with Nickelodeon for her own show. She joined Big Time Rush's Summer Tour in 2012, performing alongside Cody Simpson. She also appeared in two episodes of Fred: The Show.
In June 2012, Rachel announced she would release a five-song EP. An EP is like a mini-album, with more songs than a single but fewer than a full album. One of the songs on her EP was co-written by Rachel herself. Her self-titled EP, Rachel Crow, was released on June 26, 2012.
The main song from the EP was "Mean Girls," which Rachel wrote with Toby Gad. He also produced the song. Other songs on the EP included "Rock With You" (featuring rapper Mann), "Lemonade," "My Kind of Wonderful," and "What A Song Can Do."
Acting Roles in TV and Movies
Rachel Crow appeared in several Nickelodeon shows in the early 2010s. These included Fred: The Show and Big Time Rush. She had a deal to develop her own series with Nickelodeon, but it didn't end up on air.
Voice Acting in Animated Films
Rachel also used her voice for animated characters. She voiced Carla in the movie Rio 2, which came out in 2014. She also provided the voice for Gratuity "Tip" Tucci in the Netflix cartoon series Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh.
Live-Action Roles
In 2017, Rachel Crow starred with Ashleigh Murray in the Netflix movie Deidra & Laney Rob a Train. This movie was very well-liked by critics.
Rachel also played a recurring character named Felicia Somers in the ABC show Schooled. She appeared in four episodes of the first season.
