Red Arch Mountain is a cool mountain in Zion National Park, located in southwest Utah, United States. It stands about 5,930 feet (1,807 meters) tall. This mountain is made mostly of a type of rock called Navajo Sandstone.

You can find Red Arch Mountain just northeast of Zion Lodge. It rises about 1,700 feet (520 meters) above the lodge and the bottom of Zion Canyon. The mountain is on the east side of the North Fork Virgin River. This river helps drain water from the mountain when it rains.

Red Arch Mountain has many famous neighbors, like Mount Majestic, Cathedral Mountain, The Great White Throne, Mountain of the Sun, Mount Moroni, and Lady Mountain. The mountain got its name officially in 1934. It's called "Red Arch" because of a special arch that formed on its northwest side in 1880. This happened when a big rock slide fell into the valley. The event covered the Gifford family's farm with rocks, but luckily, the family was away at church that Sunday.
