Rosemont is a village in Leyden Township, Cook County, Illinois, United States. It is located just northwest of Chicago. In 2020, about 3,952 people lived there.
The village was officially started in 1956, but people lived there much earlier. Even though Rosemont is small in size and population compared to other towns near Chicago, it is a very important place for businesses. It is a key part of the "Golden Corridor," an area known for its many businesses. Rosemont is home to the Allstate Arena, where the Chicago Wolves hockey team plays.
Since it was founded, the village has been led by members of the same family. The current mayor is Bradley Stephens.

Rosemont is located right next to O'Hare International Airport and northwest of Chicago. Because of its great location, Rosemont has many hotels, offices, and a large highway interchange. Many big hotel chains have buildings here.

Rosemont is a hub for sports!
- The Allstate Arena is home to the Chicago Wolves, a professional hockey team in the American Hockey League.
- The Chicago Bandits, a women's professional softball team in the National Pro Fastpitch league, moved to Rosemont in 2011.
- The Allstate Arena also hosted the Chicago Bruisers, an Arena Football League team, in the 1980s.
- Since 2013, the headquarters for the Big Ten Conference (a group of major college sports teams) has been in Rosemont.
- Rosemont is home to the Chicago Dogs, an independent league baseball team. They play at Impact Field, which can hold 6,300 fans. The team started playing in May 2018.
How to Get Around Rosemont
Rosemont has good transportation options:
- The Metra station on the North Central Service offers train service on weekdays between Antioch and Chicago Union Station.
- The Blue Line of the Chicago "L" train system has a station in Rosemont. This train connects directly to O'Hare International Airport, downtown Chicago, and Forest Park.
- Pace buses run many routes from a main stop at the Rosemont 'L' station, including the Pace I-90 Express to Schaumburg and Elgin.
