Rueyres-les-Prés was once a small town, also known as a municipality, in Switzerland. It was located in the Broye area, which is part of the Fribourg region. On January 1, 2017, Rueyres-les-Prés joined with several other nearby towns like Bussy and Estavayer-le-Lac. They all became part of a new, larger town called Estavayer.

This town was first mentioned in old records way back in the year 1288. Back then, it was known as en Ruere.
