Shalom Harlow (born December 5, 1973) is a famous Canadian model and actress. She started her career in the early 1990s. By the end of that decade, she became a top supermodel. In 2007, Forbes magazine said she was one of the world's highest-earning supermodels. Shalom has also acted in movies like In & Out (1997) and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days (2003). Early Life and Family Background
Shalom Harlow was born in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Her parents are Sandi Herbert and David Harlow. Her mother named her Shalom, which means "peace" in Hebrew. It is a common greeting in that language.
Her father worked in different jobs, including as a social worker and a real estate agent. Her mother, Sandi Herbert, helped adults with special needs. Shalom grew up in a relaxed community near Toronto. Her family often visited a cottage built by her great-great-grandfather. She has two younger brothers, Chris and Nathan.
