Sonny Corey Uwaezoke (born March 5, 1991), known as Sonny Digital, is an American music producer, rapper, and DJ. He first became known for producing the song "Racks" by YC in 2011. This song was very popular and reached the top 50 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Over the next ten years, he helped create many successful hip hop and trap songs. ..... He also produced "Stargazing" by Travis Scott. Sonny Digital has also produced music for XXL Magazine's Hip Hop Cyphers in 2017 and 2018. He also tried a career as a recording artist.
Early in their careers, he worked with other famous producers like Metro Boomin, 808 Mafia, Southside, and TM88. He signed a deal with Universal Music Publishing Group in 2014.

Early Life
Sonny Digital was born on March 5, 1991, in Saginaw, Michigan. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, when he was a baby. He started making music at a young age. At first, he tried rapping in school. But it was hard to find music to rap over.
When he was 13, his older cousin inspired him to start making beats. Sonny spent a lot of his free time making music. He did not have other hobbies like sports or video games. He was inspired by famous producers Shawty Redd and Drumma Boy. He first tried to copy their sound. Later, he developed his own unique style of music production.

Early Success: 2011–2013
When Sonny was 16, he joined a hip-hop group as a producer. He also produced mixtapes for other local artists. In 2011, YC used one of Sonny's beats for the song "Racks." This song became a national hit. It reached number 42 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was also certified Gold by the RIAA.
Sonny released his first mixtape, Digital History, on May 9, 2011. This mixtape featured songs Sonny had produced from 2010 to 2011. It included many rappers like Plies, Wale, 2 Chainz, and Future.
Sonny produced six songs on Gorilla Zoe's album King Kong in June 2011. His second mixtape, Behind the Muzik, came out on September 8, 2011. This was a team-up with producer Will A Fool. ..... This song was first on Future's mixtape Streetz Calling. ..... It was the third official song from his first album, Pluto. It reached number 92 on the Billboard Hot 100. ..... It featured rappers Diddy and Ludacris.
In March 2012, Sonny produced Gorilla Zoe's mixtape Gorilla Zoe World. Sonny also worked on Gucci Mane's mixtapes Trap Back and I'm Up in early 2012. On June 8, 2012, Sonny Digital released his first rap song, "Business Man." It featured rapper Que.
Sonny produced 2 Chainz's song "Birthday Song." It came out on July 24, 2012. Sonny made the first beat. Other producers like Kanye West later changed it. The song reached number 49 on the US Hot 100. It also made it into the top 10 of the R&B and Rap charts.
Later in 2012, Sonny produced "Don't Get Me Started." This song was on DJ Khaled's album Kiss the Ring. Sonny also said he was working with artists like B.o.B, Ace Hood, and Wiz Khalifa. He also wanted to work with a famous pop singer.
In March 2013, Sonny released a mixtape with rapper Que called Forbes Atlanta.
Recent Projects: 2014–Present
In 2014, Sonny produced "Tuesday" by ILoveMakonnen and Drake. This song reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
In August 2018, Sonny produced the Travis Scott song "Stargazing." This song reached number eight on the Hot 100. It became Sonny's highest-charting song.
In 2019, Sonny announced a new project with Black Boe. The album is called Black Goat II. It is a follow-up to their 2017 album Black Goat.

In 2011, Sonny started his own music label. It is called Sonny Digital.
