Sora Choi (Hangul: 최소라; born September 5, 1992) is a famous South Korean fashion model. She became well-known after winning the third season of the TV show Korea's Next Top Model. Today, she is considered one of the most important models in the fashion world. She has walked in over 500 fashion shows and appeared on many Vogue magazine covers.

Early Life and Education
Sora Choi was born and grew up in Bucheon, South Korea. She studied modeling at Dongduk Women's University. This school is one of the best for fashion in South Korea.
Career Highlights
Starting Her Modeling Journey (2012–2015)
Sora Choi was discovered as a model when she went with a friend to an agency casting. Instead of her friend, Sora was offered a contract!
She started her career in a fashion college show. She became famous in South Korea after winning Korea's Next Top Model in 2012. That same year, her photos were featured in W Korea magazine.
Sora first walked on an international runway in September 2013 for Christopher Raeburn's show. She mostly worked in South Korea until Louis Vuitton called her. She then made her official international debut for Louis Vuitton in May 2014 in Monaco.
For the spring 2015 fashion season, Sora was chosen by Nicolas Ghesquiere to be Louis Vuitton's special model for Paris Fashion Week. She was the first South Korean model to get this honor. That season, she also walked for big brands like Alexander Wang, Fendi, Versace, and Calvin Klein. In October 2014, Models.com named her a 'Top Newcomer.'
Becoming a Top Model (2016–2023)
In the spring 2016 season, Sora was the first Asian model to walk for Hedi Slimane’s Saint Laurent show. Vogue magazine called her "one of the most popular faces on the runways" in fall 2016. She walked in over 50 shows in cities like New York, Paris, London, and Milan. From 2016, she continued to be Louis Vuitton's special model for two years. She appeared in their ads six times. In 2017, she was listed among the 'Top 50 models' by Models.com.
Sora has walked for many famous brands. These include Prada, Gucci, Miu Miu, Chanel, Hermès, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Dior, and Valentino. In 2019, she walked in 89 shows, which was more than any other model that year!
She has also appeared in over 100 international advertising campaigns. These are for brands like Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Versace, Prada, Gucci, and Burberry.
Sora has been featured in many fashion magazines around the world. These include different editions of Vogue, Elle, and Harper's Bazaar. She has been on the covers of many of these magazines too.
In December 2020, Sora won the 'Readers' Choice Model of the Year' award from Models.com. Since 2021, she has been listed as an 'Industry Icon' by the platform. This means she is one of the most important models in the industry.
In October 2021, Sora received a special award from the Korean government. This award was for her contributions to popular culture and arts.
In October 2022, Sora was added to The Business of Fashion's 'The BoF 500' list. This list includes people who are very important in shaping the global fashion industry.
In January 2023, Sora appeared on her second Vogue Italia cover by herself. In April, she was the last model to walk in Louis Vuitton's first-ever Pre-Fall show. This show took place on the Jamsu Bridge in Seoul. The next month, she opened Gucci's first Cruise collection show in Asia. This show was held at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul. In September, she was part of Victoria’s Secret’s The Tour ’23 fashion show and advertising campaign. Throughout 2023, she was in ads for many brands, including Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Swarovski.
Current Career (2024–Present)
After taking a break from modeling for a year, Sora Choi appeared in Dolce & Gabbana's Spring/Summer 2025 advertising campaign. She then returned to the runway, closing Prada's Fall/Winter 2025 show at Milan Fashion Week.
Personal Life
In August 2019, Sora Choi married Korean photographer Kove Lee in Bali, Indonesia. For her wedding, she wore a special black Prada dress. This dress was a gift from Miuccia Prada, the head designer of Prada.
