Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham (born 2 October 1997), known as Tammy Abraham, is an English professional footballer. He plays as a striker for Serie A club AC Milan. He is currently on loan from AS Roma.

Tammy started his career at the Chelsea youth academy. He made his first team debut for Chelsea in 2016. He then spent time on loan at other clubs. These included Championship club Bristol City, where he won many awards. He also played for Swansea City and Aston Villa. At Aston Villa, he scored 25 goals in one season, a club record since 1977.

He returned to Chelsea in 2019 and helped them win the UEFA Champions League. In 2021, he moved to Italian club AS Roma. In his first season, he scored 17 goals in Serie A, which was a record for an English player. He also won the first-ever UEFA Europa Conference League with Roma. Tammy has played for England at youth levels and made his senior debut in 2017.

Starting at Chelsea: Youth Career (2004–2016)

Tammy Abraham joined Chelsea when he was only eight years old. He grew up playing through the club's youth teams. He was a key part of the Chelsea youth squad that won the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup in both 2015 and 2016.

In the 2015–16 UEFA Youth League, Tammy scored eight goals in nine matches. This made him the second-highest goal scorer in the tournament. He also scored the winning goal in the FA Youth Cup final against Manchester City. During the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons, Tammy scored an amazing 74 goals in 98 games for Chelsea's youth teams.

His great performance caught the eye of the first-team manager, Guus Hiddink. Tammy was invited to train with the main squad. On 11 May 2016, he made his Chelsea debut in a Premier League match against Liverpool. He came on as a substitute in the 74th minute. A week later, he played his first home game at Stamford Bridge.

Loan to Bristol City (2016–2017)

On 5 August 2016, Tammy Abraham joined Bristol City on a one-season loan. He made his debut the very next day. He came off the bench and helped Bristol City win 2–1 against Wigan Athletic. In his second game, he scored the only goal in a 1–0 win against Wycombe Wanderers in the EFL Cup.

A week later, he scored two goals in a 2–1 victory over Burton Albion. This included a goal in the last minute to win the game. In September, he scored another two goals against Sheffield Wednesday. His excellent form led to him being named Championship Player of the Month for September. He also won the EFL Young Player of the Month award.

Tammy finished the season with 23 goals for Bristol City. This made him the second-highest scorer in the league. Bristol City finished 17th, avoiding relegation. His great season earned him three awards from Bristol City: Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Top Goalscorer. He was the first player ever to win all three awards in one season for the club.

Loan to Swansea City (2017–2018)

On 4 July 2017, Chelsea announced that Tammy had signed a new five-year contract. The same day, he joined Swansea City on a season-long loan. He played his first game for Swansea on 12 August, a 0–0 draw with Southampton.

Ten days later, he scored his first goal for Swansea in a 4–1 League Cup win. He then scored his first Premier League goal in his next match against Crystal Palace. On 14 October 2017, he scored two goals in a 2–0 win over Huddersfield Town. This was Swansea's first home win of the season. After this, both Tammy and the club struggled to score goals.

On 6 February 2018, Tammy scored two goals and helped with two others in an 8–1 FA Cup win against Notts County. This was Swansea's biggest ever win in the competition. On 7 April, he scored his first league goal since October. His goal helped Swansea get a late draw against West Brom. Swansea was eventually relegated from the Premier League on the last day of the season. Tammy scored eight goals in 39 games during his loan spell.

Loan to Aston Villa (2018–2019)

After his loan at Swansea, Tammy Abraham went back to Chelsea. However, on 31 August, he was loaned out again to Aston Villa in the Championship. He made his debut for Aston Villa on 15 September in a 1–1 draw with Blackburn Rovers. He scored in his home debut four days later in a 2–0 win over Rotherham United.

On 28 November, he scored four goals in a thrilling 5–5 draw with Nottingham Forest. This was the first time such a high-scoring draw had happened at Villa Park. He became the first Aston Villa player to score four goals in one match in the 21st century. He was named Championship Player of the Month for November, scoring six goals in four games.

By the end of the year, Tammy had scored 16 goals in 20 games. He was one of the top goalscorers in the league. On 26 January, he scored two goals against Ipswich Town. This made him the first player since 1933 to score in seven home games in a row for Aston Villa. The next month, he became the first player since 1981 to score 20 goals for the club in a single season.

On 30 March, he scored his 50th career league goal. In April, after scoring against Bolton Wanderers, Tammy became the first Villa player to score 25 goals in a season since 1977. His goal also helped the club win nine games in a row, matching a record from 1910. He was named in the PFA Team of the Year. He then helped Aston Villa get promoted to the Premier League. He scored 26 goals in 40 games, making him the second-highest scorer in the league.

Back at Chelsea (2019–2021)

After his loan, Tammy Abraham returned to Chelsea and was given the famous No. 9 shirt. On 14 August, in the 2019 UEFA Super Cup against Liverpool, he won a penalty that led to a goal. The game went to a penalty shootout, but Tammy's shot was saved, and Chelsea lost.

Ten days later, Tammy scored his first goals for Chelsea, netting two in a 3–2 win over Norwich City. The next month, he scored his first Chelsea hat-trick in a 5–2 win over Wolves. At 21 years old, he became the youngest player to score three goals in a Premier League match for Chelsea. He scored his first Champions League goal in a 2–1 win against Lille on 2 October.

In the 2020–21 season, Tammy scored his first goal against Barnsley in the EFL Cup. He scored in three games in a row in November. These wins were against Sheffield United, Rennes, and Newcastle United. He also scored his first Champions League goal of the season against Rennes.

On 24 January 2021, Tammy scored a hat-trick in the FA Cup against Luton Town. He became the first English player to score a hat-trick for Chelsea in the FA Cup since Frank Lampard in 2007. He also became the first Chelsea youth player to score 10 or more goals in two seasons in a row since 1982–83. In his final season with Chelsea, he helped the team win the UEFA Champions League.

Moving to Roma (2021–2024)

Tammy Abraham joined Italian club Roma on 17 August 2021. He signed a five-year contract.

First Season at Roma (2021–2022)

Tammy made his Serie A debut on 22 August, helping Roma win 3–1 against Fiorentina with two assists. Four days later, he played his first UEFA Europa Conference League game. On 29 August, he scored his first goal for Roma in a 4–0 win against Salernitana. On 16 September, he scored his first Conference League goal.

On 20 January 2022, he played his first Coppa Italia match, scoring and assisting in a 3–1 win. Three days later, he scored two goals against Empoli. He became the first English player in 30 years to score more than 10 goals in a Serie A season. On 25 May, he played in the Conference League final. Roma won 1–0 against Feyenoord, making Tammy a European champion again.

Second Season at Roma (2022–2023)

On 8 January 2023, Tammy scored in extra time against Milan, helping Roma get a 2–2 draw. A week later, he provided two assists for Paulo Dybala in a 2–0 win against Fiorentina. On 31 May, Tammy played in the Europa League final. Roma lost to Sevilla on penalties after a 1–1 draw.

Tammy scored 8 goals in Serie A this season, fewer than the previous year. In the last game of the season, he got a serious knee injury.

Third Season at Roma (2023–2024)

After his knee injury, Tammy returned to play on 6 April 2024. This was in a 1–0 win against Lazio. He scored a late goal against Napoli on 28 April. This was his only goal of the season, as he only played 12 games.

Loan to AC Milan (2024–2025)

On 30 August 2024, Tammy Abraham joined fellow Serie A club AC Milan on loan for the 2024–25 season. On 14 September, he scored his first goal for the club from a penalty in a 4–0 win over Venezia. On 6 January 2025, he scored a goal in stoppage time, helping Milan win 3–2 against Inter Milan in the Supercoppa Italiana final.

Tammy Abraham's International Career

Before playing for the England senior team, Tammy Abraham could have chosen to play for Nigeria. This is because his parents are Nigerian. However, Tammy always said he wanted to play for England. When he was first called up for England in November 2017, he confirmed he would play for them.

Tammy has played for England at under-18 and under-19 levels. He scored his first goals for England's youth teams in March 2015. He scored two goals as England U18 beat Switzerland 6–1.

In 2016, Tammy was part of the England squad for the U19 European Championship. He played in three matches as England reached the semi-finals. He also got his first call-up to the England U21 team in September 2016. He helped England qualify for the U21 European Championships. He scored two goals in his full debut for the U21s in a 5–0 win against Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In 2017, he was in the England squad for the 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Poland. He scored his only goal in the tournament in the semi-final against Germany. England lost the match after a penalty shootout.

In May 2018, Tammy was called up to the under-20 side for the Toulon Tournament in France. He scored the winning goal in England's first game, a 2–1 win over China. He also scored in a 4–0 win over Qatar, which helped England reach the semi-finals. England won the tournament, beating Mexico 2–1 in the final.

Senior International Matches

On 2 November 2017, Tammy Abraham was one of three new players called up to the senior England team. He made his debut against Germany on 10 November, starting in a 0–0 draw at Wembley Stadium.

In October 2019, he played his first competitive game for England against the Czech Republic. This meant he was now committed to playing for England.
