Walking the Runway
Tanya Dziahileva was discovered when she was only 11 years old in 2002. In 2004, she signed with a big modeling company called IMG. Tigran Khachatrian from Noah Models found her. He sent her to St. Petersburg, Russia, to meet important IMG Model scouts.
Tanya made her first big appearance in September 2005. This was during the Paris Fashion Week and Milan Fashion Week. She got an exclusive deal with Prada in Milan. She also walked in top shows in Paris, like Alexander McQueen, Chanel, and Chloé.
Soon after, Tanya became one of the most wanted models of the season. The website models.com named her one of the top new models. In the spring of 2008, she walked in 74 fashion shows! She even opened the Versace show. She also closed four other shows, including Phillip Lim, Celine, and Valentino.
In September 2008, a fashion newspaper called Women's Wear Daily (WWD) wrote about Tanya. They said she was an up-and-coming model who could become a supermodel. Fashion TV also called her one of the most popular top models. In 2007 alone, she was in almost 150 fashion shows around the world.
Since her first major season in 2006, Tanya has walked for many top designers. These include Chanel, Oscar de la Renta, Dior, Hermès, Alexander McQueen, and Jean Paul Gaultier. She also modeled for Missoni, Versace, Prada, Donna Karan, and Calvin Klein.

In the spring of 2006, Tanya Dziahileva worked with Agyness Deyn for Hugo by Hugo Boss. This ad campaign became very popular. Later, Tanya got a big solo campaign. She became the face of Yves Saint Laurent. The famous photographer Jürgen Teller took her pictures.
After these two successful campaigns, she became the face for the fashion house of Jean-Paul Gaultier. In 2007, Steven Meisel photographed Tanya for a Lanvin campaign. The next year, Patrick Demarchelier photographed her for the BCBG Max Azria ad campaign.
