Movie Story: High Tide Adventure
Troy's Escape and Revenge Plan
The story begins with Troy, the evil tiger shark, who is still alive. Humans have captured him and kept him in a cage. He gets regular medical checks from them. But Troy manages to escape with help from a small, tricky shark named Ronny. Once free, Troy decides he wants revenge on Pi.
Pi's Life and New Challenge
Back at the reef, Pi is a happy father. He enjoys life without any sharks around. But then, Troy and his shark friends arrive at the reef wall. They threaten the fish, saying that in four days, the water will rise. This will allow the sharks to swim over the reef wall. Nerissa, a wise sea turtle, tells Pi he must train the other fish. They need to learn how to defeat Troy this time.
Ronny's Tricky Plan
Meanwhile, Troy forces Ronny to follow his orders. Troy wants Ronny to mess up Pi's training. In return, Troy promises to let Ronny go free. Ronny disguises himself with kelp and fake teeth. He sees how badly Pi's training is going. Ronny then gets an idea. He announces that the fish should put on an "underwater extravaganza." He says every fish has a special skill. By showing these skills, they will attract humans to protect them from the sharks. Everyone likes Ronny's plan except Pi.
Pi talks to Nerissa about Ronny's idea. Nerissa suggests that Ronny might offer something Pi hasn't. He says Ronny gives the fish a chance to prove themselves. Pi argues that he tried to train them. Nerissa replies that he suggested Pi teach them to be their best, not to be like Pi. Nerissa then shows Pi a picture of the legendary Sea Dragon. Only those who are worthy can control it. When Pi asks if Nerissa has ever summoned it, Nerissa says "many times."
The Shark Trap Disaster
Pi gets an idea to build a shark trap. It would launch Troy out of the sea. He asks Bart and Eddie to get supplies. Pi and his son, Junior, set up the trap. Pi tells Bart and Eddie to guard the grotto where it is. However, Ronny overhears Pi's plan. Troy orders Ronny to destroy the trap. So, Ronny tricks the reef fish. He tells them he needs a clamp for his talent show. The reef fish rush to the grotto and accidentally destroy the shark trap. Bart and Eddie report the disaster to Pi. Pi is furious and confronts Ronny. But Cordelia defends Ronny. She says Ronny believes in the fish as they are, and Pi didn't. Pi leaves feeling sad.
Troy's Threat and Ronny's Betrayal
The next day, Troy and his friends ambush Pi. The evil shark threatens to destroy the reef tomorrow. Troy shows his sharp teeth. But Nerissa appears behind Troy. He creates a sandstorm, making Pi disappear from the sharks. Troy is frustrated and tells his friends to leave.
Later, Troy orders Ronny to bring Cordelia outside the reef at sunset. Ronny succeeds. Troy then reveals Ronny's disguise to Cordelia, which shocks her. But Ronny has grown to love the reef and its inhabitants. He tries to explain himself. However, Troy kidnaps Cordelia. Troy decides Ronny is no longer useful and lets him go.
A Second Chance for Ronny
Pi is hurt and resting in Nerissa's shipwreck. They hear a noise. Bart and Eddie have captured Ronny. They bring him to Pi, revealing he is a shark. Ronny sadly tells Pi that Troy forced him to do bad things. He promises to help Pi get Cordelia back. Pi, Nerissa, Bart, and Eddie decide to give Ronny a second chance.
While Pi frees Cordelia, Ronny blocks the other sharks. He tells them to stand up to Troy. Unfortunately, Troy overhears this. Furious with Ronny's betrayal, Troy swallows the small shark whole.
The Final Battle
As the other fish get ready for the shark battle, Nerissa enters a mysterious volcano. He summons the powerful sea dragon. Mysterious energy flows around the turtle as he calls the dragon.
Troy and his sharks attack the reef. Many fish outsmart them. Troy bites Pi and holds him down. But before Troy can hurt him, Nerissa appears with his powerful sea dragon. The dragon blasts the other sharks away. However, Troy sneaks up behind Nerissa. He knocks the turtle off the dragon, making it disappear. Troy then prepares to attack Nerissa. But Pi throws a Water Ball at Troy. Troy turns his attention back to Pi and chases him.
Finally, Pi, Cordelia, and Junior use the shark trap. They use it to defeat Troy. He is sent flying out of the sea and back to the ship. As humans approach the defeated shark, Ronny flies out of Troy's mouth and back into the sea. The humans then give Troy another medical check, and he screams.
All the fish celebrate their victory. Nerissa congratulates Pi for becoming a true leader. Pi and his friends thank Nerissa for risking his life for them. Nerissa replies, "It was my part to play." Nerissa then dances with the other fish. A fully redeemed Ronny joins the party too.
