What is the Movie About?
Robin Hood's Adventure with Tom and Jerry
The story begins with Robin Hood and his friend Jerry trying to stop a tax money transport. This transport is a trap set by the bad guy, the Sheriff of Nottingham, who works for Prince John. The Sheriff also has his own henchcat, Tom.
Luckily, Jerry warned Robin Hood. Robin's team, the Merry Men, were ready for the trap. They turned the tables on the Sheriff and successfully took the gold.
The Sheriff's Plan to Catch Robin
Prince John and the Sheriff were very upset about losing the gold. The Sheriff figured out that Robin uses Jerry to get secret information from someone inside the castle. So, he told Tom to catch Jerry. This would help them find out who the spy was.
That same night, Robin asked Jerry to deliver a love poem to Maid Marian. Marian was Robin's secret contact and the person he loved. Tom was with Marian and saw Jerry coming. He tried to stop Jerry but failed.
The Sheriff then came up with a new plan to catch Robin. He announced an archery tournament. The prize was a kiss from Marian. Robin couldn't resist this chance and decided to join, even though his Merry Men were worried.
Jerry's Role in the Tournament
While Jerry was delivering a special ring from Robin to Marian, Tom chased him. During their chase, Jerry accidentally helped Robin win the archery contest! But then, the Sheriff figured out it was Robin. Robin and his Merry Men were captured.
Tom and Jerry Team Up
Jerry was the only Merry Man (besides Spike, Tyke, and Friar Droopy) who was still free. He snuck into the castle to free his friends. Tom found him, and they started fighting in Marian's room.
The Sheriff accidentally kicked them out of the room. Then, he found out that Marian was Robin's spy and arrested her. Tom finally caught Jerry. But Prince John and the Sheriff were rude to Tom. They had just found out that King Richard, Prince John's brother and the true King of England, was coming back from the Crusades much sooner than they thought.
Prince John and the Sheriff decided to plan an ambush to kill King Richard before he could reach England. They also decided to execute Marian for being a "traitor." Because of this, Tom decided he didn't want to work for Prince John anymore. He freed Jerry, and they teamed up to free Robin and the Merry Men from prison.
Saving the King
Meanwhile, Prince John, the Sheriff, and their helpers rode off to set their trap for King Richard. Spike, Tyke, and Droopy easily entered the castle. While looking for their friends, they ended up freeing Marian.
Spike found out where Prince John's ambush was. Tom, Jerry, Robin, and his men quickly went to help. They arrived just in time to stop the assassination! Prince John and the Sheriff had to fight them directly.
When Robin and King Richard were in trouble, Tom and Jerry stepped in. They fought the two bad guys with swords, allowing Robin and Richard to join the fight again. In the end, Prince John and the Sheriff were captured. King Richard returned to his throne, Robin and Marian got married, and Tom and Jerry were honored for helping the kingdom.
