Ashley Glazebrook and Glen Murphy are a super cool English street dance duo known as Twist and Pulse. They became famous after being the runners-up on Britain's Got Talent in 2010. Later, they returned to win Britain's Got Talent: The Champions in 2019, becoming the ultimate "Champion of Champions"!

In 2012, they were part of the exciting 70-day Olympic Torch Relay Tour. They also performed at the basketball, badminton, and volleyball events during the London 2012 Summer Olympics.

How Twist and Pulse Started

Ashley Glazebrook, also known as Twist, was born in London in 1991. He loved music from a young age, especially by Michael Jackson. At school, Ashley got really into dance. He joined a local street dance group and even performed at big events like the World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas.

Glen Murphy, or Pulse, was born in London in 1990. He also loved to dance.

Ashley and Glen met at the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology. They were both studying dance, learning different styles like ballet, tap, and jazz. They quickly became best friends because they shared a funny sense of humor. As college ended, they decided to form a duo called the Cheeky Boiz. They started practicing their unique "streetomedy" performances. This style mixes street dance with comedy, which helped them reach the finals of Britain's Got Talent in 2010.

Their Journey on Britain's Got Talent

Twist and Pulse amazed everyone at their Britain's Got Talent auditions. Their "streetcomedy" style was a mix of cool street dance moves and hilarious comedy. The judges loved them, giving them three "yes" votes. They easily moved through the auditions and semi-finals. In the live final, they finished as runners-up.

Declan "Dec" Donnelly from the show said, "These two guys come on and dance to the EastEnders theme tune. That's clever and new." Anthony "Ant" McPartlin added, "It took me back 15 years ago to when me and Dec were PJ and Duncan but they could actually dance!" Dec joked, "If they can present a TV show, we're screwed!"

Twist and Pulse came back for Britain's Got Talent: The Champions in 2019. They received a special "Golden Buzzer" from judge Alesha Dixon, which sent them straight to the final. They then won the entire show, beating other amazing acts. This made them the first "Golden Buzzer" act to also win first place in the Britain's Got Talent series!
