Song Qian (Chinese: 宋茜), born on February 2, 1987, is better known as Victoria or Victoria Song. She is a talented Chinese singer, dancer, actress, model, TV host, and author. Many people know her as the leader of the popular South Korean girl group f(x).
Victoria started her solo music career in May 2020. She released her first album, also called Victoria, which was a big hit. On South Korean TV, she became famous for shows like We Got Married Season 2 and Invincible Youth.
She has also starred in many Chinese TV dramas. Some of these include When Love Walked In (2012), Beautiful Secret (2015), and Find Yourself (2020). Victoria has also appeared in movies like My New Sassy Girl (2016). Her popularity has grown a lot, and she has been listed among the top celebrities in China by Forbes.

Victoria's Amazing Journey
Early Life and Starting Her Career (1987–2011)
Victoria Song was born in Qingdao, China. When she was young, she moved away from home. She went to the Beijing Dance Academy to study traditional Chinese dance. After high school, she continued her dance studies there.
In 2007, a talent scout from SM Entertainment saw her at a dance competition. She passed the audition and joined the company. Victoria first trained to become an actress and model in South Korea. Before her official debut, she appeared in music videos and commercials. She officially joined the K-pop group f(x) in September 2009.
In 2010, Victoria joined the TV show Invincible Youth. She was part of a group called G7, which included seven female idols. She also starred in the reality show We Got Married with Nichkhun from the group 2PM. They were known as the "Khuntoria" couple. Both Victoria and Nichkhun became very popular because of this show. At the end of 2010, Victoria won a 'Popularity Award' for her work on We Got Married.
Becoming a Star: Acting and Growing Popularity (2012–2017)
In January 2012, Victoria got a main role in the Chinese-Taiwanese TV show When Love Walked In. She acted alongside Zhou Mi and Calvin Chen. This drama became very popular and was number one in viewership. Victoria won the 'Best New Actress' award for her role. In December 2012, she released a photo-essay book. It was called Victoria's Hong-Ma and shared her travel stories in Hong Kong and Macao.
In 2013, she became a host for the KBS show Glitter. She hosted it with actress Kim So-eun.
In 2014, Victoria hosted another show called Strongest Group with Zhou Mi. She also sang on his solo album. Victoria appeared in two music videos for singer Zhang Liyin. She played the main female character in "Agape" and "Not Alone".
In 2015, Victoria started working with Chinese manager Jia Shikai for her activities in China. She starred in the TV drama Beautiful Secret. She also sang a song called "Star Tears" for the show's soundtrack. This drama had the highest viewership ratings in China for the first half of 2016.
In 2016, Victoria starred in the movie My New Sassy Girl. It was released in both South Korea and China. She also appeared in the Chinese movie My Best Friend's Wedding. The same year, Victoria starred in the fantasy drama Ice Fantasy. She sang an original song for the show, "Li Luo," which was also her character's name.
From January to April 2017, Victoria co-hosted the show Ace vs Ace. She also became a regular cast member on Beat The Champions. In June, she starred in the fantasy romance drama A Life Time Love. Solo Music and New Acting Roles (2018–Present)
In January 2018, Victoria starred in The Chronicles of Town Called Jian. This mystery drama was filmed in 2014.
On March 13, 2018, she released her first solo song, "Roof on Fire." She also became a mentor on the dance show Hot Blood Dance Crew. She was also a mentor on the talent show The Next Top Bang.
In May 2018, Victoria starred in the fantasy romance drama Moonshine and Valentine. She received praise for her acting in this series. In October, she appeared in the adventure film Legend of the Ancient Sword. The same year, she was cast in the drama Broker. She played a smart scientist in the show.
On September 5, 2019, Victoria announced that her contract with SM Entertainment had ended. However, SM Entertainment said they were still working with her in new ways.
In 2019, Victoria starred in the drama Love Under the Moon. She also sang the opening song for the show. In 2020, she starred in the romantic comedy Find Yourself. This drama was very popular. Victoria gained more fame for playing a working woman who was new to love.
On May 19, 2020, Victoria released her first solo album, Victoria. It had ten songs, including "Roof on Fire." The album sold over 250,000 copies very quickly. In 2021, Victoria ended her contract with H&M. This happened after H&M criticized China for human rights issues. In April 2021, SM Entertainment confirmed that their contract with Victoria had officially ended.
In 2022, Victoria starred in Beloved Life. She played a doctor specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. In 2023, she played Han Lu in the film Post Truth. She traveled around China to promote the movie.
In January 2024, she starred in the business romance drama The Interpreter. In July 2024, she became the Global Ambassador for Jimmy Choo's "I want Choo" perfume line.
Helping Others
Victoria Song has always cared about helping others. In 2008, she supported Chinese athletes for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics. In 2010, she and her group f(x) became ambassadors for a blood donation campaign. The next year, she helped promote a fundraising campaign. This campaign helped children in Africa and was organized by the Red Cross and UNICEF.
In November 2012, Victoria and singer Kangta taught music and dance to children in China. This was part of a charity event.
In late 2014, Victoria held a flea market. She sold her personal items and gave all the money to UNICEF. In April 2015, she helped a project called "Beautiful Childhood Secret." This project helped children with hearing disabilities. In June, she joined UNICEF's "Help Nepal Children" project.
