Villarzel is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It is located in the canton of Vaud, within the Broye-Vully area. In 2006, Villarzel became bigger by joining with two other nearby towns, Rossens and Sédeilles.

Villarzel covers an area of about 7.7 square kilometers (3 square miles). Most of this land is used for farming. About 70% of the area is farmland. Another large part, about 24%, is covered by forests. The remaining small part, about 6%, has buildings and roads.
