Villars-Bramard was once a small town, or municipality, in Switzerland. It was located in the Broye-Vully area of the canton of Vaud.

On July 1, 2011, Villars-Bramard joined with several other villages. These included Cerniaz, Combremont-le-Grand, Combremont-le-Petit, Granges-près-Marnand, Marnand, Sassel, and Seigneux. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Valbroye.

Geography of Villars-Bramard

Villars-Bramard covered an area of about 3.2 square kilometers (1.2 square miles). A big part of this land, over half (54.1%), was used for farming. This means people grew crops or raised animals there.

About 37.3% of the area was covered by forests. The rest of the land, about 6.3%, was where buildings and roads were located. This included homes and transportation routes.

Before 2006, Villars-Bramard was part of the Payerne District. When that district was closed, Villars-Bramard became part of the new Broye-Vully district.
