Seigneux was once a municipality in Switzerland. It was located in the Broye-Vully area, within the canton of Vaud.
On July 1, 2011, Seigneux joined with several other villages. These villages included Cerniaz, Combremont-le-Grand, Combremont-le-Petit, Granges-près-Marnand, Marnand, Sassel, and Villars-Bramard. Together, they formed a new, larger municipality called Valbroye.

History of Seigneux
Seigneux is a very old place. The first time it was ever written about was between the years 1216 and 1250. Back then, its name was spelled Simuus.

Seigneux covers an area of about 3.7 square kilometers (1.4 square miles). This information is from 2009.

Seigneux Coat of Arms
The blazon (description) of Seigneux's coat of arms is quite specific. It is described as Per fess Or and Azure, a ciborium counterchanged, bordered Gules and Argent. This means the shield is divided into two horizontal halves. The top half is gold (Or) and the bottom half is blue (Azure). In the middle, there is a special cup called a ciborium. Its colors are swapped depending on the background, and it has red (Gules) and silver (Argent) borders.
