Yul Chibuike Daniel Edochie (born on 7 January 1982) is a well-known Nigerian actor. He is from Anambra State, Nigeria. His father is the famous Nigerian actor, Pete Edochie.

About Yul Edochie
Yul Edochie grew up in both Lagos and Enugu cities in Nigeria. He is the youngest of six children in his family.
He studied Dramatic Arts at the University of Port Harcourt. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from there. Yul Edochie was named after a famous Russian actor, Yul Brynner. He has six children.
His Acting Career
Yul Edochie started his acting journey in Nollywood, the Nigerian film industry, in 2005. His first movie was called The Exquires.
He became very popular in 2007. This happened after he starred in the movie Wind Of Glory. He acted alongside other big names like Genevieve Nnaji and Desmond Elliot.
In 2015, Yul Edochie decided to help new actors. He opened a film academy in Lagos. This academy teaches young people how to act and work in movies.

In 2017, Yul Edochie tried something new. He decided to run for governor of Anambra State. He was a candidate for the Democratic Peoples Congress political party. However, he did not win the election that year.
