Wars and Battles
In 1350, England and France were still fighting in a long conflict known as the Hundred Years' War. English forces continued their attacks on French lands.
On August 29, a big naval battle happened off the coast of England. It was called the Battle of Les Espagnols sur Mer, which means "The Spaniards on the Sea." The English fleet, led by their king, King Edward III, fought against a Spanish fleet. The English won this important sea battle.

In Southeast Asia, a powerful new ruler named Hayam Wuruk became the leader of the Majapahit Empire. This empire was very strong and important in the region during this time.
The Black Death Continues
