Currently held by Lol Crawley for The Brutalist (2024)

The BAFTA Award for Best Cinematography is a special prize given out every year by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). This award celebrates the best work by a cinematographer in a film. A cinematographer is the person in charge of how a movie looks, including the lighting, camera angles, and overall visual style. They are sometimes called the Director of Photography (DP).

BAFTA is a British group that holds yearly awards shows for movies, TV shows, children's films, and even video games. Since 1963, talented cinematographers have received this BAFTA award at a special ceremony.

In the lists below, the names and movie titles in bold with a gold background are the winners. The years shown are when the films were released, not when the awards ceremony happened (which is usually the next year).
