Greig Fraser was the cinematographer for Rogue One (2016), a Star Wars movie. He used a special camera called the Arri Alexa 65. This was the first time a full movie was filmed entirely with this camera. He said the camera made images sharper and more detailed. He also liked how it added a "three-dimensionality" to the picture.
He also worked on the Star Wars TV series The Mandalorian in 2019. For his work on this show, he won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Half-Hour) in 2020.

Personal life
Greig Fraser met costume designer Jodie Fried in Sydney in 2004. They were both working on a short film at the time. In 2008, they moved to the United States. They got married in a helicopter above Las Vegas. Greig and Jodie live in Los Angeles with their three children.
