Bertrand Demond Berry (born August 15, 1975) is a former American football player. He was a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He also played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Early Life and Sports Talents
Bertrand Berry, also known as "King," started playing football when he was young. He played for the Cardinals in the Humble Area Football League as a running back.
He went to Humble High School in Humble, Texas. There, he was a star in three different sports. He played basketball, football, and was on the track team. In basketball, he was chosen as one of the best players in his district twice. For track, he was great at throwing the discus. He even set a school record in the shuttle hurdle relays.
College Football Journey
After high school, Berry went to the University of Notre Dame. He played football for four years there. He was a "letterman," which means he played well enough to earn a special award. By the end of his college career, he had made 187 tackles and 16.5 sacks.
Playing in the NFL
Bertrand Berry was chosen by the Indianapolis Colts in the third round of the 1997 NFL draft. He started as a linebacker but later became a defensive end. He played a lot on both defense and special teams.
In 2000, he joined the St. Louis Rams, but he was released during training camp. Later that year, he played two games for the Edmonton Eskimos in the Canadian Football League.
By the 2003 season, Berry was a starting defensive end for the Denver Broncos. He led his team in both tackles and sacks that year.
Before the 2004 season, he joined the Arizona Cardinals. He played so well that he was chosen to represent the NFC in the 2005 Pro Bowl. This is a special game where the best players from each conference play against each other.
On March 18, 2009, Berry signed a new one-year contract with the Cardinals.
On January 21, 2010, Bertrand Berry announced that he was retiring from the NFL. He finished his professional career with 232 total tackles, 65 sacks, and 13 forced fumbles.
Life After Football: Broadcasting
After retiring from playing, Bertrand Berry started a new career in radio.
In August 2011, he began hosting "The Bertrand Berry Show" on The Fan AM 1060 KDUS in Phoenix. He hosted the show with Mike Grose every weekday. This show ended in December 2012.
Later, in April 2015, Berry filled in for another host on the "Doug and Wolf Show" on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. On August 3, he started hosting his own show called "Off the Edge with B-Train" on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.
