The Boots and Hearts Music Festival is a super fun, multi-day country music and camping event. It's held every year at the Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario, Canada. This festival is produced by Republic Live Inc. and owned by Stan and Eva Dunford.

Since it started in 2012, Boots and Hearts has grown a lot. It's now Canada's biggest country music festival! It's also the second largest music festival in North America, right after the CMA Music Festival.

Boots and Hearts has won some cool awards too! It received the "Festival of the Year" award from the Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) in 2014, 2015, and 2016. It also won the Canadian Music Week "Festival of the Year" award in 2015. In 2019 and 2020, it was even nominated for "Festival of the Year" by the Academy of Country Music Awards.

The festivals planned for 2020 and 2021 had to be cancelled. This was because of the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic.

Festival History

The Boots and Hearts festival was created by Stan and Eva Dunford's company, Republic Live Inc. It first happened in 2012 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario. The idea for the festival came from Stan's nephew, Shannon McNevan.

The festival quickly became very popular. It grew so big that the Motorsport Park couldn't hold everyone anymore! So, the owners bought new land to host large festivals. This new place is the Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, Ontario. The festival has been held there ever since.
