Brummen is a small town and a municipality (like a local government area) in the eastern part of the Netherlands. It's a quiet place with a rich history.
The village of Brummen has a small railway station. This station connects Brummen to bigger cities like Zutphen and Arnhem. The village is about 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) southwest of Zutphen. It is also very close to the IJssel river, less than 1.5 kilometers away.
Just two kilometers west of Brummen, you can find the Engelenburg resort. This resort is located at the edge of the Veluwe forest area. It looks like a castle and is used as a hotel, especially for golf players. It even has its own 9-hole golf course.
