The Story of Chipita
Chipita is a snack food company that started in Greece in 1973. In 1991, Chipita launched one of its most famous products. This was the 7DAYS croissant. It was a baked snack that came in its own package. It could stay fresh for a long time.
Today, Chipita makes its products in factories in 11 different countries. They sell these snacks to people in 56 countries. They do this either directly or by working with other companies. Chipita has 13 factories that it owns. These are in countries like the Netherlands, Greece, Germany, and Russia. They also have six more factories that work through special partnerships. These are in places like Saudi Arabia, Mexico, and India.
Chipita also has offices in 15 countries. These include the Netherlands, Austria, and the United Kingdom. More than 5,800 people work for Chipita. About 4,700 of them work directly for the company. The rest work through partner companies.
In May 2021, a large company called Mondelēz International bought Chipita. This big deal was completed in January 2022. Chipita decided to keep its business running in Russia. This decision was made even though some other companies stopped their operations there.

Saudi Arabia Partnership
Modern Food Industries (MFI) was set up in 2009 in Saudi Arabia. This was a partnership between Chipita, Almarai, and The Olayan Group. MFI is based in Riyadh. They have factories in places like Jeddah. In 2009, they introduced the 7DAYS croissant in Saudi Arabia. They also sell 7DAYS Swiss Rolls and 7DAYS Cake Bars. In 2018, they launched 7Days Bake Rolls. Modern Food Industries also sells products in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain.
Malaysia Partnership
Muchico Bakery SDN BHD was started in 2016 in Malaysia. This is a partnership between Chipita and the Tan Family. Muchico Bakery began making products locally. They introduced the 7DAYS croissant in Malaysia in 2017. They also launched it in Singapore in 2018.
