Christian Harrison, born on May 29, 1994, is an American professional tennis player. He is known for his skills in doubles matches. Christian reached his highest doubles ranking of world No. 15 on November 3, 2025. He also achieved a singles ranking of No. 198 on July 2, 2018. His biggest success is winning a major doubles title at the 2026 Australian Open. He won this title with his partner, Neal Skupski. Christian also reached the semifinals at the 2025 French Open with Evan King. In mixed doubles, he made it to the semifinals twice at the US Open, in 2018 and 2025. He partnered with Christina McHale and Danielle Collins for these achievements. So far, Christian has won four ATP Tour doubles titles.

Early Life and Family
Christian Harrison's father, Pat Harrison, was his coach. Christian also studied at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He has an older brother, Ryan Harrison, who is also a tennis player.
Starting His Professional Career
First Big Matches and Milestones
In 2012, Christian began his professional tennis journey. He reached the quarterfinals at a Challenger event in Lexington, Kentucky. Later that year, he got a special invitation, called a wildcard, to play doubles at the 2012 US Open. He played with his brother, Ryan Harrison, and they made it to the quarterfinals.
In 2013, Christian had a great start to the year. He played in four Futures events, reaching the quarterfinals, semifinals, a final, and winning one. He also earned his first win on the ATP World Tour. This happened at the BB&T Atlanta Open, where he defeated Alejandro Falla. He then played a close match against John Isner but lost.
Overcoming Challenges: A Break for Recovery
Christian took a break from playing in 2014 and 2015. He used this time to recover from some injuries and surgeries.
Rising in the Ranks: Grand Slam and ATP Tour Debuts
In 2016, Christian played very well to qualify for the main draw of the US Open. He won three tough matches, each going to three sets, to earn his spot. He then played his first main draw match but lost.
He also made his debut in a Masters 1000 tournament, the 2017 Miami Open. This is a very important series of tournaments in tennis. Later in 2017, he received another wildcard for the US Open. There, he won his first doubles match with his partner, Christopher Eubanks.
In 2021, Christian had a fantastic run at the 2021 Delray Beach Open. Even though he was ranked much lower, he qualified for the tournament. He surprised everyone by beating the top-seeded player, Cristian Garín. Christian reached the semifinals before being defeated. This great performance helped him jump many spots in the singles rankings. That same year, he reached his first-ever ATP doubles final. He played with his brother, Ryan Harrison, but they lost a very close match. This achievement helped Christian get back into the top 250 in doubles.
In 2022, Christian qualified for the famous 2022 Wimbledon Championships. This was his second time qualifying for Wimbledon and his third time in a major tournament's main draw. He achieved a big milestone by winning his first-ever main draw match at a major event, beating Jay Clarke.
Doubles Success: Winning Titles and Reaching Finals
The years 2024 and 2025 were very successful for Christian in doubles. He won his 11th Challenger title in Winnipeg in 2024. This helped him enter the top 100 in doubles rankings by July 2024.
In 2025, Christian teamed up with Rajeev Ram and reached the doubles final at the Auckland Classic. Unfortunately, they had to withdraw due to an injury.
However, with his new partner, Evan King, Christian won his first ATP Tour doubles title at the 2025 Dallas Open. They defeated Ariel Behar and Robert Galloway in the final. Just three weeks later, they won their second ATP 500 title in Acapulco. They beat Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul in a quick final.
Christian and Evan continued their success at the Masters tournaments. They reached their first Masters semifinal at the 2025 BNP Paribas Open. This helped Christian achieve a new career-high ranking of world No. 36 in March 2025. They also reached the quarterfinals at the Miami Masters. Later, they made it to another semifinal at the 2025 Mutua Madrid Open. These great results pushed Christian into the top 20 in the world doubles rankings by May 2025.
Achieving a Grand Slam Title
Christian Harrison achieved his biggest dream by winning a Grand Slam doubles title. This happened at the 2026 Australian Open. He partnered with Neal Skupski to win this major championship.
Playing for Teams: World TeamTennis
Christian has also played in World TeamTennis for three seasons. He first joined in 2015 with the Boston Lobsters. He later played for the Orange County Breakers in 2018 and the San Diego Aviators in 2020.
