Club Journey

Early Days: Sorrento and Juventus

Ciro Immobile was born in Torre Annunziata, Italy. He started playing football at a young age in local youth teams. He later joined Sorrento, where he scored 30 goals in one season for the under-17 team. This impressive performance caught the eye of Juventus.

In 2008, when he was 18, Juventus signed him. He played for their youth team, known as the Primavera squad. In 2009, he and his teammate Ayub Daud helped the team win the 2009 Torneo di Viareggio, a famous youth tournament. Immobile scored five goals in that tournament, including two in the final.

Loan Spells and Pescara Success

In 2010, Immobile was loaned to Siena in Serie B. He didn't play much there, so in January 2011, he moved to another Serie B club, Grosseto, also on loan.

In August 2011, Immobile joined Pescara on a season-long loan. He quickly became a key player, scoring his first goal for them on his debut. By the middle of the season, he had already scored 14 league goals. His great form led Genoa to buy half of his player rights from Juventus in January 2012. Immobile finished the season with Pescara, helping them win the Serie B title and get promoted to Serie A. He was also the top scorer in Serie B with 28 goals. For his excellent performance, he was named Serie B's Player of the Year.

Genoa and Torino

Immobile officially became a Genoa player in July 2012. He played one season with them in Serie A.

In July 2013, Juventus sold their remaining half of Immobile's rights to Torino, a rival club in Turin. He made his debut for Torino in the Coppa Italia and scored his first goal for the club. He started scoring regularly in Serie A from October, including his first two-goal game in December.

On 22 March 2014, Immobile scored his first hat-trick in Serie A, helping Torino win 3–1 against Livorno. He continued his strong performance, scoring in six consecutive matches. By the end of the season, he had scored 22 goals in 33 games. This made him the first Torino player to win the Capocannoniere award (Serie A top scorer) since 1977.
