Correvon was a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It was located in the Vaud area, which is called a canton. In 2013, Correvon joined with several other nearby towns like Chapelle-sur-Moudon, Denezy, and Thierrens to form a new, bigger municipality called Montanaire.

History of Correvon
Correvon is a very old place! It was first mentioned in official records way back in 1166. Back then, its name was written as Correuont.
Where is Correvon?
Correvon was a small area, covering about 2.2 square kilometers (which is about 0.85 square miles). Most of its land, about 83%, was used for farming. Forests covered about 12.5% of the area, and the rest, about 2.2%, had buildings and roads.
Correvon was located on a flat area, like a high plain, between two rivers called the Broye and Mentue. It used to be part of the Moudon District, but in 2006, it became part of the new Gros-de-Vaud district.
Correvon's Coat of Arms
A coat of arms is like a special symbol for a town or family. Correvon's coat of arms has three main parts:
- At the top, there's a golden cross on a blue background.
- The middle part is split into four squares, alternating blue and gold. On top of these squares, there's a golden staff that looks like it has a flower on it.
