How He Plays
Federico Bernardeschi is a fast, strong, and creative player. He is very skilled with the ball and has a good sense of where to be on the field. He is known for his speed, quick movements, and ability to dribble past opponents. He can also shoot powerfully and accurately from outside the penalty area.
He mostly uses his left foot and prefers to play as a winger on the right side. From there, he can cut inside and either shoot or create chances for his teammates. He is also good at linking up with forwards and midfielders. Because he is so versatile, he can play in many different positions, including as an attacking midfielder, a central playmaker, or even as a full-back or wing-back. He is also good at taking free kicks and penalties.
Bernardeschi has said that famous players like Francesco Totti, Roberto Baggio, and Alessandro Del Piero were his idols. His playing style has also been compared to these legends.
