History of Freedom Church
Freedom Church was started in 1988 by Pastors Gary and Heather Snowzell. Back then, it was called New Life Church. It began in a town called Leominster in Herefordshire.
Around 2005, the church moved to Hereford. At that time, its name changed to Freedom Church.
In 2011, Freedom Church worked with a large church in the United States called NewSpring Church. This partnership helped Freedom Church start new churches in different parts of the world. This special arrangement ended in December 2017.
The first new church planted by Freedom Church was in Cardiff in 2011. Since then, they have started many more locations. These new churches are in places like Africa, North America, Asia, and Europe.
In 2015, the Freedom Church in Hereford moved to a new building. This building used to be a cinema and a nightclub.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Freedom Church in Worcester, England, helped its community. They provided storage space for a local food bank.
