What is Guanaba Like?
Guanaba is known for its wide-open spaces. Many people here enjoy horse riding! The area has lots of small farms and properties.
The Coomera River forms the eastern edge of Guanaba. To the west, you'll find part of Tamborine National Park. This park has hills that go up to about 40 meters high.
A Look Back: Guanaba's History
Did you know Guanaba once had its own school? The Guanaba State School opened around March 1930. The building itself was moved from another school in Carrara. It was a special day when it officially opened on Arbor Day in June 1930. However, the school closed its doors around 1942.
