Story of Idaten Jump
Sho Yamato is a boy who really loves mountain biking, or MTB for short. He often practices at a special place called the "X-Zone." His dad, Takeshi, built this cool area just for MTB. Sho rides his special bike, "Flame Kaiser," with his friends Kakeru and Makoto.
Journey to the X-Zone World
One day, a tough MTB team called Team Shark Tooth challenges Sho to a race. The winner would get the X-Zone. This place was very important to Sho because he had many happy memories there with his dad, who had disappeared. Sho couldn't lose!
During the race against Gabu Samejima, the leader of Team Shark Tooth, a mysterious black smoke suddenly appeared. It covered the ground around them. When the smoke cleared, Sho and his friends found themselves in another world! This new world was also called the "X-Zone."
Idaten Battles and Gold Emblems
Sho, Kakeru, and Makoto were very confused about where they were. Soon, other MTB riders appeared. They challenged Sho to an "Idaten battle," which is a special kind of MTB race in this new X-Zone.
The riders told Sho that the only way to get back home was to win 10 gold emblems. He could earn these emblems by winning Idaten battles. Sho and his friends had to make their way to X-City, which was the main city of this X-Zone world.
So, Sho began competing in Idaten Battles. These races took place in many different and exciting places. He raced through ghost towns, near volcanoes, in ancient ruins, across deserts, and even on snow-covered mountains. Sho had to win these battles to find his way home.
Before each Idaten Battle, the riders would put on their bike helmets. They would say, "Ready, set, and go!" When their helmets were on, a full mountain biking suit would magically appear on them for the race.
Facing Team Shark Tooth and Team X
Sho's group decided to head to X-City to collect the 10 gold emblems and return home. Along the way, they often faced Team Shark Tooth and their many helpers. Even when they reached X-City, Gabu Samejima was in charge. He was like a dictator there.
Gabu wanted to stay in power. He even stole the 10 gold emblems that Sho had won! When Sho tried to get them back, Gabu used a powerful bike move called "Bloody Impact." This move knocked Sho down, and part of the X-Tower even fell on him. Luckily, Sho survived, and his friends helped him get past Gabu's guards.
After many adventures, Sho finally returned to his own world. But his journey wasn't over. He went back to the X-Zone to find his lost father, Takeshi. This time, he had to face a mysterious new group called Team X.
