Jason Scott Dolley, born on July 5, 1991, is an American actor and musician. He is well-known for his roles in many Disney Channel shows and movies. Some of his famous characters include Newton "Newt" Livingston III in Cory in the House, Virgil Fox in Minutemen, and PJ Duncan in Good Luck Charlie. He also played Connor Kennedy in Read It and Weep and Pete Ivey in Hatching Pete.

Early Life and School
Jason Scott Dolley was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 5, 1991. He has an older brother named Jeffrey. Jason took online classes at Moorpark College in 2010. Later, in 2016, he graduated from California Lutheran University.
How He Started Acting
Jason first got on stage when he was 11 years old. He and his brother performed a funny routine called "Who's on First?" at a school talent show. This was his first experience performing for an audience.
Jason's Acting Career
First Roles and Disney
Jason's first acting jobs came in the same year he performed in the talent show. He got the main role in a short film called Chasing Daylight. Soon after, director Mel Gibson chose him to play T.J. Savage in the ABC TV series Complete Savages.
After Complete Savages ended, Jason starred in the movie Saving Shiloh as Marty Preston. He also appeared in the Disney Channel Original Movie Read It and Weep as Connor Kennedy. Another film he was in was The Air I Breathe.
In 2006, Jason was in a commercial for Duracell batteries. He also joined the "Yellow team" in the second Disney Channel Games in 2007. From 2007 to 2008, Jason starred in the Disney Channel show Cory in the House. In 2008, he played Virgil Fox in the movie Minutemen. He was also on the "Green Team" in the third Disney Channel Games. Jason even made a guest appearance as a prince in Imagination Movers.
Hatching Pete and Good Luck Charlie
In 2009, Jason starred in the Disney movie Hatching Pete as Pete Ivey. Then, in 2010, he started his second Disney Channel series, Good Luck Charlie, where he played P.J. Duncan.

When asked about his role in Good Luck Charlie, Jason said he liked how real the show felt. He enjoyed that it was a family sitcom with an "authentic tone." He also mentioned that it reminded him of Full House, a classic family show. He thought families could watch it together and have a good laugh.
Jason and the cast of Good Luck Charlie also appeared in a Christmas movie based on the series. It was called Good Luck Charlie, It's Christmas! and aired in December 2011. Jason also lent his voice to the character Rumble in Disney Channel's animated movie Pixie Hollow Games.
