Jeremy Shada's Acting Journey
Jeremy Shada started acting when he was seven years old. His family had just moved to Los Angeles. His older brother, Zack Shada, who was also an actor, inspired him to get into acting.
Early Roles and Voice Acting
Jeremy first appeared in commercials. Later, he began trying out for voice acting and stage plays. He got advice from a voice-over agent. His first live-action role was as Young Kurt Diamond in the movie No Rules. He also played young Charlie Pace in flashback scenes on the TV show Lost.
Becoming Finn the Human
In 2009, Jeremy's agent suggested he audition for the role of Finn in Adventure Time. Interestingly, his brother Zack had voiced Finn (who was first called Penn) in the pilot episode of Adventure Time three years earlier. Jeremy watched the pilot online. He then matched his voice to his brother's voice during auditions. This helped him get the role from Adventure Time creator Pendleton Ward and the show's producers.
Starring in Incredible Crew
In 2012, Jeremy joined the cast of Nick Cannon's sketch-comedy series, Incredible Crew. To promote the show's 2013 premiere, Cartoon Network released a music video. It was a rap video called "Running Errands with My Mom." Jeremy performed and rapped the lyrics in the video. This video has been watched over a million times.
Because of his busy acting schedule, Jeremy was homeschooled. He shared on his Facebook page that he finished high school early in May 2013.
Jeremy Shada's Music Career
Jeremy Shada is also a talented musician. He is part of a pop-punk band called Make Out Monday. He formed the band in 2014 with his brother Zack. The band performed at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con.
Jeremy Shada's Family Life
On March 8, 2020, Jeremy Shada married Carolynn Rowland. Carolynn is a dancer with the Los Angeles Ballet. In March 2024, the couple shared on Instagram that they were expecting their first child. Their son, Caden Stone Shada, was born on August 13, 2024.
