Jeremy Shada (born January 21, 1997) is an American actor, musician, and singer. He is famous for lending his voice to popular cartoon characters like Finn the Human in Adventure Time and Lance in Voltron: Legendary Defender.

Jeremy also starred in the comedy show Incredible Crew. More recently, you might have seen him as Reggie Peters in the 2020 Netflix original series Julie and the Phantoms. He also voices Tom Kullersen in DreamWorks Dragons: The Nine Realms.

Jeremy's Journey to Acting

Jeremy Shada started acting when he was just seven years old. His family had just moved to Los Angeles, a big city known for movies and TV shows. His older brother, Zack Shada, was also an actor, and he inspired Jeremy to try it too!

At first, Jeremy appeared in TV commercials. Later, he started trying out for voice acting roles and plays. A special agent who helps voice actors gave him good advice. His very first role in a live-action show was playing Young Kurt Diamond in a movie called No Rules. He also played a younger version of the character Charlie Pace in flashbacks on the TV show Lost.

Becoming Finn the Human

In 2009, Jeremy's agent suggested he try out for the voice of Finn in Adventure Time. Fun fact: his brother Zack had actually voiced Finn in the very first pilot episode of Adventure Time three years before! Jeremy watched the pilot online and practiced matching his voice to his brother's. This helped him get the role, and he became the voice of Finn!

In 2012, Jeremy joined the cast of Incredible Crew, a sketch-comedy show created by Nick Cannon. To promote the show, Cartoon Network released a funny rap video called "Running Errands with My Mom." Jeremy performed and rapped in the video, and it became very popular, getting over a million views!

Because of his busy acting schedule, Jeremy was homeschooled. He finished high school early in May 2013.

Music and Family Life

Jeremy is also a talented musician. He is part of a pop-punk band called Make Out Monday with his brother Zack. The band started in 2014 and even performed at the famous 2014 San Diego Comic-Con!

On March 8, 2020, Jeremy married Carolynn Rowland, who is a dancer with the Los Angeles Ballet. In March 2024, they shared exciting news on Instagram: they were going to have a baby! Their son, Caden Stone Shada, was born on August 13.
