Julia Michele Bradbury (born 24 July 1970) is a well-known English journalist and television presenter. She has worked for major TV channels like the BBC and ITV. Julia is famous for her documentaries and shows about consumer issues.
She is especially known for presenting many outdoor walking programmes. She also co-presented the BBC One show Countryfile from 2004 to 2014. Other popular shows she presented include Watchdog (2005–2009) and Planet Earth Live (2012). For ITV, she presented Take on the Twisters (2013), The Wonder of Britain (2015), and Britain's Best Walks (2017).
Julia has a website called The Outdoor Guide, which her sister Gina helps to run. In 2021, they started The Outdoor Guide Foundation. This charity helps to provide outdoor gear to primary schools. Their goal is to make it easier for all children to enjoy the outdoors.

About Julia Bradbury
Julia's Early Life
Julia Bradbury was born on 24 July 1970, in Dublin, Ireland. Her father was from Derbyshire, England, and worked in marketing. Her mother was Greek and ran a fashion business.
When Julia was young, her family moved back to Britain. She grew up in an old rectory and went to primary school in Edith Weston, Rutland. Later, she attended King Edward VII School in Sheffield. As a child, Julia took acting classes. She even performed in a stage play of Peter Pan at the Crucible Theatre.
Julia's TV Career
Julia Bradbury started her TV career with Chrysalis TV and L!VE TV. In 1996, she moved to GMTV as their Los Angeles reporter. She also worked as a co-host on Top Gear in the 1990s.
On 30 March 1997, Julia was one of the first presenters on Channel 5. She helped launch the channel with a countdown featuring the Spice Girls.
Working with the BBC
From 2008 to 2011, Julia presented four series of Kill It, Cook It, Eat It on BBC Three. This show explored how food gets from farms to our plates. It also looked at how animal products are used in other industries.
In 2009, Julia temporarily left Watchdog due to a problem with her travel points account. An investigation cleared her of any wrongdoing. She returned to the show on 20 April 2009.
In April 2009, it was announced that Julia would present the relaunched Countryfile with Matt Baker. She continued to present Countryfile until 2014.
Julia also presented Wainwright Walks on BBC Four in 2007. In this series, she followed the mountain paths of famous walker Alfred Wainwright. She also presented Coast to Coast in 2009 and South Africa Walks in 2010.
In 2010, she explored Germany in Julia Bradbury's German Wanderlust. In 2011, she presented Canal Walks with Julia Bradbury and Julia Bradbury's Icelandic Walk. This Icelandic walk covered 60 kilometres of a famous hiking route.
Julia co-presented The Great British Countryside with Hugh Dennis in 2012. She also co-presented Planet Earth Live with Richard Hammond. In 2013, she co-presented Fightback Britain and Keeping Britain Safe 24/7.
Working with ITV
Julia Bradbury has also presented shows for ITV. In 2013, she co-presented Mystery Map with Ben Shephard. She also presented the quiz show Take On the Twisters.
In 2015, Julia presented The Wonder of Britain. In 2016, she started her own series, Best Walks with a View with Julia Bradbury. A book called Unforgettable Walks was released with the series.
In 2017, she presented Britain's Best Walks. In 2018, she co-presented Britain's Favourite Walks: Top 100. In 2019, she presented Australia with Julia Bradbury and My £10K Holiday Home. In 2020, she presented The Greek Islands with Julia Bradbury.
Radio Work
Julia has also worked in radio. She has presented shows for BBC London 94.9 and Radio 5 Live.

Julia's Personal Life
Julia Bradbury lives in Rutland and West London. She has three children with her partner, Gerard Cunningham.
Julia is an ambassador for several charities. These include the Pink Ribbon Foundation, The Outdoor Guide Foundation, and Keep Britain Tidy. She also supports charities related to cancer and heart health.
In 2009, she took part in the Macmillan 4x4 UK Challenge with her sister, Gina Fox. They raised £7,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Later that year, she traveled from Kazakhstan to Mongolia with Countryfile co-star Matt Baker. This was for the BBC's Around the World in 80 Days to help Children in Need.
Julia was president of the Friends of the Peak District from 2008 to 2016. She is also a vice-president of the CPRE in South Yorkshire. In April 2010, she became president of the Ramblers.
Julia works with the British Heart Foundation to encourage people to exercise more. She is also an ambassador for the Scout Association. In October 2013, she became the first woman president of the Camping and Caravanning Club.
Awards and Recognition
On 14 November 2013, Sheffield Hallam University gave Julia Bradbury an honorary doctorate. This is a special award that recognizes her achievements.
