Life in Little Bealings
Little Bealings has a few important places for its residents. There is a local school for children. The village also has a village hall and a meeting room. This meeting room is called the Angela Cobbold Memorial Hall. These places are used for community events and gatherings.
The village once had a pub called the Admiral's Head. However, it closed its doors on July 20, 2012.

Bealings Railway Station
Little Bealings used to have its own railway station. This station was quite busy until 1956. It was closed down as part of a plan to reduce railway services in the 1950s. This happened before the bigger railway cuts known as the Beeching Axe.
Today, the old station building is no longer used for trains. Instead, it has been turned into commercial office spaces. However, the railway line itself is still active. It is part of the East Suffolk Line, which runs from Ipswich to Lowestoft. The train line crosses the main street of the village at an automatic level crossing.
The Grove Estate
The Grove is an old house and estate located in Little Bealings. It was once the childhood home of a famous person named Sidney Colvin. Sidney Colvin was a curator and a critic. He was also a very close friend of the well-known writer Robert Louis Stevenson.
