Lohn-Ammannsegg is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It is located in the canton of Solothurn, within the Wasseramt district. This town was created in 1993 when two smaller villages, Lohn and Ammannsegg, joined together.

A Look Back in Time
The village of Lohn was first written about in 1260. Ammannsegg appeared in records a year later, in 1261. These two villages, Lohn and Ammannsegg, officially joined together in 1993. They formed the new political municipality of Lohn-Ammannsegg. However, some local community groups from the original villages still operate separately.
