Ludwig Göransson (born September 1, 1984) is a talented Swedish musician, composer, songwriter, and record producer. He creates music for movies, TV shows, and popular songs. He has won many big awards for his work, including two Academy Awards (also known as Oscars), a BAFTA Award, two Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and four Grammy Awards.
As a record producer, Ludwig has worked closely with the artist Childish Gambino. He produced Gambino's albums like Camp and "Awaken, My Love!". His work on Childish Gambino's song "This Is America" was very successful. It won two Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Ludwig has also produced music for other famous artists, including Adele, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, and Kendrick Lamar.

Early Life and Education
Ludwig Göransson grew up in Linköping, Sweden. His mother, Maria, is a florist from Poland, and his father, Tomas, is a guitar teacher from Sweden. He has an older sister named Jessika. He was named after the famous composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
He started learning music when he was young. He later graduated from the Stockholm Royal College of Music. In 2007, he moved to Los Angeles to study film and TV music at the University of Southern California. There, he met director Ryan Coogler. Ludwig composed music for Coogler's short film locks in 2009. After college, he helped composer Theodore Shapiro. Ludwig's first big chance came in 2009 when he became the composer for the TV show Community.

Film and TV Music
In 2013, Ludwig Göransson scored his first full-length movie, Fruitvale Station. This film was directed by his college friend, Ryan Coogler. The movie won several awards at film festivals like Sundance and Cannes. In August 2013, Ludwig signed a deal with Jay-Z's company, Roc Nation, to compose music. He also composed music for the movie We're the Millers that year. In 2015, Coogler and Göransson worked together again on the boxing film Creed. He also scored films like Central Intelligence and Everything, Everything.
In 2018, Göransson and Coogler teamed up for their third movie, Black Panther. Ludwig wanted the music to mix traditional African sounds with superhero movie music.
