Madame Tussauds Sydney is a super cool wax museum located in Darling Harbour in Sydney, Australia. You can find it right on the Aquarium Wharf. This museum is part of Merlin Entertainments, a company that owns and runs many fun attractions all over the world!
A Look Back: How it Started
Madame Tussauds Sydney first opened its doors in April 2012. It was the thirteenth Madame Tussauds museum to open globally. This makes it the only museum of its kind in Australia!

At Madame Tussauds Sydney, you can explore many exciting areas filled with incredible wax figures. These figures look so real, it's almost like meeting the actual person! The museum has lots of interactive experiences too. This means you can often pose with the figures or even feel like you're part of the scene.
Popular Exhibits and Figures
In 2015, Madame Tussauds Sydney did something special. They launched three different wax figures of the singer Madonna at the same time! This was the first time they had ever revealed so many figures of one female performer.
The museum has many different zones where you can meet famous people from various fields:

This section includes figures like the Dalai Lama, Mahatma Gandhi, King Charles III, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William, Queen Elizabeth II, Nelson Mandela, and Albert Einstein. You can also find Australian legends like Ned Kelly, Arthur Phillip, Henry Lawson, and Banjo Patterson.
- Marvel: Join the Marvel universe with heroes such as Wolverine, Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel.
- Sydney Live: This area celebrates stars popular in Australia and beyond. You might see Troye Sivan, Harry Styles, Pink, Adele, Taylor Swift, John Farnham, Kylie Minogue, and Michael Jackson.
